Hi Bill,
Excellent message. Was just browsing through the TCF website and thought I'd listen to the message for a couple of minutes. Couldn't put it down and ended up listening to all of it. God has certainly gifted you as a communicator of His truth!

Blessings,

Amen,You Pin the Tell on the Donkey. I've experience this in my lhraedseip develop with the Holy Spirit. God is wanting true worshipers to worship Him in Spirit and Truth. We need to check our idea and opinion at the church door.(Flesh) God is moving in his people and we need to be ready for Spiritual Warfare. Many of our Brother and Sister have not be discipled because we're to busy playing Church. True knowledge of God is Jesus who is our righteousness(Romans 10:2-4)and their is nothing we can do to make ourselves right. It D.O.(Divine Order)Time for Leaders to step in their anointing and be about the Father's Business. Winning Souls, Feeding God's Sheep and standing in Jesus Christ Rightousness. Game Over!!!!Thanks for being bold in you accessment of the what is going on in some of our churches. But let this be a warning to the new church. That God is a Holy God and He can not bless his childern if they choices to live in disobeient that produces Sin.The question is why gain the world and loss your soul to be Cool. Family please check yourself before you wreack yourself and all those who depend on you to be all that God what you to Be.

THanks, Craig. I think I (and many of us) get so excited & hyped about deorvuing new leadership content and reading what's next and trying to keep up that I forget God. God's plan and ideas seem a lot more simple (and much more difficult) than the strategies and techniques I read about. Too much reading and following other people can lead me away from God's plan into my own vain plans.

Good stuff! I thank that for me, I tend to want to learn as much wisdom from other leeadrs more than I want to learn techniques. The problem though, is that I've found myself stuck trying to repeatedly gain wisdom from that person .and instead of Seek first the kingdom and its righteousness I am seeking first to gain wisdom from a human! God has been teaching me that I must look to Him. Seek Him first. Want wisdom? You gotta go to Him for it. Have a spiritual question? Seek Him first. Have a problem? Go to Him first. It's all about seeking Him first and then everything else will be given as well.

Pastor Craig, thanks for this post. In piareprng myself to become a pastor, I subjected myself to keeping with all of the latest resources. When the time came, I wanted to be best preacher and the best pastor that I could be. Along with some recent events in my life and this post, God has humbled and revealed that there was too much control that I was placing in this call and there was very little spirit of yielding and surrendering to him. All in all, this post has confirmed to me that God isn't so much interested in how good' of a pastor I am, whatever that may mean, but is interested in the quality and depth of my personal relationship with him. It's the pruning of the my rough character and the sanctification of my heart that God desires. I don't know how long this period of fasting from resources and delving into God's word and prayer will last but I've resolved to do so even if it could possibly mean that God has plans other than being a pastor. Again, thank you for your post. I'm thankful to God that there are those like you who have been in trenches and sharing your hard-earned wisdom with the rest of us. Thank you again and God bless your ministry, pastor Craig.

Hi, Dad,
I finally got to listen to this sermon since I was gone that Sunday you preached it. THANK YOU!! It's very valuable and even encouraging! It has been my prayer that even though I am very grieved and even angry at what is happening in our nation, my attitude and words would always be under the control of the Holy Spirit. I also pray that whatever suffering might be chosen for me, it would not be because of foolish "bumping of gums" on this issue, but because of a opportunity from the Lord to speak with conviction and RESPECT, as you so urged. I surely does help to know that we face these times TOGETHER, too!! Thank you always for the example you are to all of us of faithfulness & humility! Praying for you!

Bill, what a wonderfully thorough exposition of the means that our loving Lord uses to convince people to come to him, a heavy duty Bible study. Thank you for all the work you put into that. What a blessing.

I love being able to access the sermon and link to it. It is a great way to share an encouraging message with someone without having to ask if they still have a tape player.
